Becoming a mentor is a one of the best ways to make a positive impact on the life of a teenager. There are three ways that you can spend a little time to sharing your experience and wisdom with others. Allow an 11th or 12th grade student who is contemplating a career in your specific industry to visit your workplace. For a day or two you will be able to assist the student in making good choices and answer their questions. Share to experience speaking at one of our local schools. Give of your time working with one of our partner organization sharing life experiences.
Becoming a mentor is not usually a long term commitment, but if you find this is something you enjoy, we can refer you to one of our partner organizations. If you are a teen considering a specific direction in life, this is a great opportunity to spend time with an expert.
